The first year

Michael and I were married on June 5th 2008 in the Nauvoo Temple. For the first year of marriage we lived in small town just south of Springfield in Nixa Mo. We rented a nice sized town house and commuted to school. I went to school at Missouri State University for a Bachelors of Psychology. I only have 17 credits left. Michael attends Ozark Technical Community College were he is finished his Firefighting program and is taking his EMT test this Saturday. He also has credits that he will continue to work on to get his Associates.
We found out that we were parents-to-be on Valentines day. I was highly emotional that day and for some reason I knew i was pregnant. Michael wouldn't believe me till we took a test. I was crying so hard, just from the hormones, that he was embarrassed to stand with me in line to buy
the dumb thing. I am now 20 weeks along. The baby is a constant mover and usually when I'm trying to go to sleep. We get our first Ultrasound on June 23rd and hopefully will find out if its a boy or girl, everybody keeps asking.
We bought a house in May and thought we had one month to remodel but we tore down so much of it that its not livable at the moment and we needed a place to stay. He tore down the walls and there was no insulation on the outside walls and the wiring needed to be redone. He also is framing a lot in the house and it looks amazing, even with just the studs up. It will look really good when we are done. So, for the time being, we are up in Stockton (an hour and 1/2 north of Springfield) and Michael is really busy with work to work on the house. I'm guessing we will be up here for a while.
For our one year anniversary Michael took me to the pound and we picked out a puppy. I have been wanting one since I moved out of my parents. We named her Sadie. She's a Hines 57 pup. I cant even pick a breed to match her with. But she is a very good dog. Doesn't chew, great on walks, goes potty outside. We are teaching her not to jump up and how to ride on the 4 wheeler. She's going to be a great family dog.
